The only faux pas we see is her downgrading motherhood.
In response to the not recognizing parents as moms and dads being implemented by the USAF, she says "I take little offense to that".
LITTLE offense?
Hell woman, you RAISED children, if that isn't commanding respect then DEMAND IT...
She should be slamming her fist on the table when she is offended by that even if it is not proper decorum.
It is not proper decorum to be reducing parenthood by the military so they forfeit the right to proper decorum in this situation.

It would do Gen Brown very well to learn from her as his responses fall flat on their face (they are as canned as they come) — and this guy is a commander in our military nonetheless...
